Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

14x11, oil on canvas

Wishing you a year filled with joy and peace!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog this year, and I hope

you will stop by in 2016.

I plan to take more workshops, paint with other artists, and learn more to make my art better.

This painting was a commission for a special friend.

I hope it brings joy to his family.

Painted Bunting

Painted Bunting

5x7, oil on board

$45.00

I have been trying to challenge myself this month by painting and posting daily.

Even though I haven't posted every day, I have painted most days.

I have been completing commissions for Christmas gifts,

and I am preparing for another show.

After a busy week, I really just needed to paint for the joy of it.

So, I turned on the music, made a ponytail, and lost myself.

What a joy to paint for pure pleasure!

As as result, I am pleased with my little bunting.

Day two of my November painting challenge.

Spent much of this rainy day  working on various birds.

I love them, but find them a little difficult.

Hopefully they will become easier as I go.

This canvas is 1.5 inches deep and painted on all sides.

I am happy to do this in other sizes.

Enjoy your day, and thanks for stopping by!

This little guy is a smaller version from earlier in the summer.

I just found the coolest book of birds and can't wait to do a complete bird study soon.

I am happy to do other sizes if you are interested.

I hope you are happy and well today and enjoying the sunny October days.

Thanks for stopping by.
