Healing and Joy

Healing and Joy
22x28 oil on canvas
Not for Sale

This painting is a gift for my sister.
She has spent most of the last year healing
and learning to forgive.
She has made new friends and grown so much
both emotionally and spiritually.
I am so proud of her and the way
she has found new joys in life.
She loves to open her home to her friends.
I hope this painting will bring her happiness
 and joy for many years.

JH Adams Inn

JH Adams Inn
14x11, oil on canvas board
NFS

The JH Adams Inn in High Point, North Carolina
was the setting for our son and his beautiful brides' wedding last weekend.
It is a beautiful Inn that is located in uptown High Point.
It was built in 1918.
A must see if you are in the area.

We framed the painting inside a white mat that the guests
signed during cocktail hour and the reception.

Lemons

Lemons
8x8, oil on board
NFS

I set up this still life on a cold, snowy day in February.
I was needing something to help me remember that spring is just around the corner.
A good friend came by the studio and purchased it for her mother's birthday.
I hope it brings her much happiness.

Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks again for stopping by.

Walk in the Park

Walk in the Park
20x16 oil on canvas
NFS

I did this painting a few years ago, and I am thrilled it has a new home.
My friend, Ellen, fell in love with it and wants to hang it in her home.

I hope it brings her joy for many years.
Thank you!

If you like it, I am happy to paint it for you.
It has beautiful colors.

This morning another dear friend bought the crab painting, Blue.
I have had many good comments about that guy since I posted him last week.
I am going to paint him again for sure!
I have lots of crab photos from that day at the beach.
