I just love cardinals, and I love the paint them!

Living in North Carolina, they are our state bird.

A local candy company used this painting for their Christmas card.

I am happy to be back posting on my blog after a long break.

Life has a way of getting busy, and  before you know it, a year has flown by.

I painted this last year, as I was enjoying the Christmas lights twinkling on our tree.

I brought my easel into my den and painted on the spot.  

It made me very happy!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

We have so much to be thankful for.
