8x10 oil on canvas
This painting was inspired by our awesome Carolina Panthers.
The photo reference was taken from our seats during the Green Bay game.
Still unbelievable that they are 11-0 this year.
So proud of them!

5x7, oil on board
I have been trying to challenge myself this month by painting and posting daily.
Even though I haven't posted every day, I have painted most days.
I have been completing commissions for Christmas gifts,
and I am preparing for another show.
After a busy week, I really just needed to paint for the joy of it.
So, I turned on the music, made a ponytail, and lost myself.
What a joy to paint for pure pleasure!
As as result, I am pleased with my little bunting.

14x11, oil on canvas
This is a demo I did yesterday with 2nd and 3rd graders at John Lawrence Elementary.
I was excited to be a part of their Cultural Arts Day among the other artists.
It was great being back in school, and the kids were so engaged!
Very refreshing to see that the Arts are still alive.
Enjoy your day and weekend!

14x11 oil on canvas
Not for sale
Our church is doing a Talent Challenge. It is based on the parable of the talents.
Everyone was given the opportunity to take an envelope with a ten dollar bill in it.
We are to use the talents God has given us to multiply the money we were given.
We were instructed to use the $10 to buy supplies or whatever we would need to turn that money into as much money as we can before November 15th.
I posted this painting on Facebook this past Monday and opened it up for auction bidding.
It was fun to watch the bidding take place, and I am happy that a good friend was able to get the painting.
She had purchased a painting earlier for her mom, and she is keeping this one!
The proceeds will go toward school supplies for a local elementary school.
Have a great day!

8x8 oil on canvas
I found this little vase in a thrift store a few years ago,
and it is the perfect size for a small bouquet.
I hate to say good bye to the roses each fall.
They bring such joy to the back yard.
I hope you are enjoying your day,
and I thank you for stopping by.

6x6, oil on canvas
Day two of my November painting challenge.
Spent much of this rainy day working on various birds.
I love them, but find them a little difficult.
Hopefully they will become easier as I go.
This canvas is 1.5 inches deep and painted on all sides.
I am happy to do this in other sizes.
Enjoy your day, and thanks for stopping by!

Looking forward to painting and posting daily.
