Sunflowers are one of my favorites, as their blooms are so large and bold.

This painting was done earlier this summer, and I wasn't ready to let it go.

I decided to share it with you, and maybe do another one similar.

I just found the coolest book of birds and can't wait to do a complete bird study soon.

Time to say so long to these beautiful hydrangeas.

I painted this vineyard from a photo I took while visiting the Italian countryside.

In fact, I remember hanging my head out the window as we sped along the highway.

I think we should return and take proper photographs of beautiful things to paint.

That is definitely on the list.

I haven't posted in quite a while. I have been busy preparing for a show, 

and I have been completing several commissions.

The show was a great success and loads of fun too.
